Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 15, 2026. This page explains how the Obsidra website handles project requests, files, contact information, and analytics.
Information collected
The Start a Project form can collect your name, email address, phone number, organization, customer type, project stage, project type, quantity, project requirements, material preference, dimensions, timeline, budget range, preferred contact method, referral source, technical notes, uploaded file metadata, and non-persistent UTM parameters when present in the page URL.
Why it is collected
This information is used to review the project, identify missing details, prepare a quotation or recommended next step, communicate with you, and decide whether CAD work, prototyping, additive manufacturing, or another manufacturing approach may be appropriate.
File handling
Files are uploaded through signed upload URLs to Cloudflare R2-compatible object storage. Email notifications include file download links generated by the website backend; files are not attached directly to the notification email.
Service providers involved
The repository shows use of Cloudflare R2-compatible storage for uploaded files, Resend for email notification delivery, and Vercel Analytics for website analytics. The site is deployed through a Next.js/Vercel workflow.
Cookies and analytics
Vercel Analytics is installed on the website. The project does not add advertising pixels, heatmaps, or additional tracking providers in the repository.
Retention and deletion
The repository does not define an automated retention period or deletion workflow for submitted form records, email notifications, or uploaded files. Contact Obsidra to request access, correction, or deletion.
Security
Uploads use signed URLs and server-side validation of supported file extensions and maximum file size. Do not upload sensitive or confidential information unless you are authorized to share it.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information submitted through the website, contact sales@obsidra.ca.

This policy may be updated as the website, service providers, or business processes change.
